Marcus Donald are currently working with a global education provider who are now looking to onboard a Infrastructure Manager to join their ever-growing team of professionals.

Your mission will be to manage a Technical Services team that cover traditional infrastructure services globally and all associated resources including multiple datacenters and cloud services.

50-50% WFH/REMOTE.

What you’ll be doing - Infrastructure Manager:

  • Provide and maintain the infrastructure services roadmap and Infrastructure systems life cycle.
  • Implementing standards and responsible for all components of IT infrastructure and underlying technologies.
  • Take the technical lead and coordinate medium to large scale projects and manage escalation of 3rd line calls troubleshooting of system problems. 
  • Build, foster and manage supplier relationships on an operational and strategic level
  • Manage direct reports and resources.
  • Responsibility for implementation and maintenance of IT security-controls standards in compliance with Cyber Essential Plus and ISO27001

What we’re looking for - Infrastructure Manager:

  • High level and advance technical understanding of IT infrastructure across on-premise, public and cloud IaaS.
  • Experience with implementation of Cyber Essential Plus in a large enterprise.
  • Experience of managing a multiple datacenter infrastructure including Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • Detailed experience of the ITIL practices.
  • Experience of EUC technologies such as SCCM, MEM, Azure AD, Operating System Deployment, Application delivery.

 How will success be measured?

  • A resource plan is in place, communicated and managed, to ensure appropriate availability of team resources to meet both project and operational demands within agreed budgets and timelines. 
  • Overall team direction is effectively, and consistently communicated and individual feedback channeled appropriately. 
  • Service review reports to confirm SLAs are met across IT infrastructure.
  • Increasing capability and capacity, with demonstrable up-skilling of technical knowledge in wider team. 

Location: City of London
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + company benefits
