Description
Marcus Donald are currently looking to identify an experienced Senior Programme Manager to join a popular NFP Organisation.
This is a 90-95% remote working opportunity as you'll only be required to commute to the office (London or Hertfordshire) on average twice per month, allowing for a lot of home working and flexibility.
Your responsibility will be supporting the business in implementing a new (consolidated) SAAS HR and Finance system. You will be in charge of successfully delivering strategic technology programmes to support the organisation within their implementation of a brand-new HR, Accountancy, Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting.
Senior Programme Manager – Responsibilities:
- Successfully delivery of the strategic technology programmes to support the business achieving its strategic objectives, using the recognised methodologies (such as MSP, Agile etc) within agreed timescales, scope and budget.
- Source, negotiate with, select, engage, and then monitor the performance of consultants and external suppliers engaged in projects and initiatives to support the delivery of the programme.
- Budget and resource forecasting and management for each project or programme
- Create and maintain effective relationships with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Risk, and a range of other stakeholders to facilitate the effective delivery of the programme(s).
- Review escalated risks and issues from IT Training, Business Analysts, BRMs and project managers
- Define and establish appropriate governance arrangements for the programme and its projects, prepare timely and relevant reports
- Lead a team of project managers, business analysts, IT Trainers and Business Relationship Managers
- Lead the engagement of senior stakeholders to build support for the proposed investment and the business benefits it will deliver.
Senior Programme Manager – Technical requirements:
- Experience working with SaaS and Azure Cloud
- Experience working with a HR System implementation
- Experience working with a Finance System implementation
- Experience with working with MS Dynamics, Workday and Oracle
Programme & Business Relationship Management – Desirable
- Programme management qualification such as MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) required.
- Project Management Professional, Practitioner Certificate in PRINCE2
