Information Security Officer

Marcus Donald are currently looking for an ambitious Information Security Officer to work within a large and ever-growing business based within the Banking sector.

We’re looking for an Information Security Officer to work within the Information Security team at our clients London office. We need hands on, detail-oriented and highly technically skilled individual to help build out the GRC part of their Information Security function, you need to be interested in all areas of information security and be willing to switch communication between technical and non-technical audiences.

Information Security Officer - Requirements:

• Providing expertise in compliance programmes for regulatory and compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS/27001
• Creating, reviewing and maintaining security policy, standards and procedures
• Coordinating internal and external reviews for security frameworks e.g. PCI-DSS
• Running security processes
• Work alongside management to report security status and events
• Implement new ways to improve security across the business

 Information Security Officer - What You’ll Need:

• Very good understanding of PCI-DSS,GDPR and other compliance and regulatory frameworks
• Have a good understanding of the technology stack
• Understanding of information security and related principles
• Strong Problem solving skills
• At least 3 years of experience in the Information Security field
• A natural tendency to notice the small things
