Information Security Officer

Marcus Donald are currently looking for an ambitious yet expereinced Information Security Officer to join a Non-profit organisation based in the City of London.

We’re looking for an Information Security Officer to work within the Information Security team within our client's London office. They need hands on, detail-oriented and highly technically skilled individual to help build out the GRC part of the Information Security function, you need to be interested in all areas of information security and be willing to switch communication between technical and non-technical audiences.

At present the role will be fully remote until January 2022, when you will be expected to work at least 2 days in the office so commutable into the City (close to Cannon Street) is required.

Information Security officer - Requirements:

• Providing expertise in compliance programmes for regulatory and compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS/ISO27001/GDPR
• Creating, reviewing and maintaining security policy, standards and procedures
• Coordinating internal and external reviews for security frameworks e.g PCI-DSS
• Running and maintaining security processes
• Work alongside management to report security status and events
• Implement new ways to improve security across the business

Information Security officer - What You’ll Need:

• Very good understanding of PCI-DSS, ISO, GDPR and other compliance and regulatory frameworks
• Understanding of information security and related principles
• Strong Problem solving skills
• At least 2 years of experience in the Information Security field
• A natural tendency to notice the small things

Information Security officer - Advantageous:

• An ability to automate and script your work, e.g. python, bash scripts
• Certified within; CISSP, CISM, GDPR practioner, ISO lead auditor/implementer
