WordPress Web Developer

Marcus Donald are currently looking to identify an experienced WordPress Web Developer to join a popular NFP Organisation. This is a home-based role.

As a Web Developer you will be a keen digital representative to help guide the business to ensure websites are operated and maintained effectively. You will also be aspiring to use technology to support the social impact we inspire to achieve.

WordPress Web Developer– Responsibilities:

• Identify or address interoperability and accessibility requirements.
• Track, compile, and analyse web site usage data.
• Document web site changes as part of the wider technology change procedures.
• Develop and document style guidelines for web site content.
• Test new software packages for use in web operations.
• Develop or implement procedures for ongoing web site revision.
• Set up or maintain monitoring tools on web servers or web sites.
• Test backup and recovery plans regularly and resolve any problems.
• Develop testing routines and procedures to administer internet/intranet infrastructure and CMS.
• Install or configure web server software to ensure that directory structure is well-defined, logical, secure, and that files are named properly.
• Implement updates, upgrades, and patches in a timely manner to limit loss of service.

WordPress Web Developer – Technical competency (Essential)

• Word Press
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• Cloud Experience

WordPress Web Developer – Technical competency (Desirable)

• React / Angular
• Experience with other CMS Systems (DNN, Kentico etc.)
• LESS / SASS
