Information Security Officer

Marcus Donald are now searching for an Information Security Officer to join a client based around Bank area with remote working also available.

This an opportunity to start at InfoSec Officer level and grow very quickly into a Lead position within the first 6 months.

Key Skills as Information Security Officer:

• Shaping security governance
• Looking into and exploring security controls and processes
• Experience working with ISO 27001/Cyber Essentials
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ensuring compliance with all data privacy regulations
• Managing client due diligence requests
• Training users and making them aware of InfoSec and Data Privacy
• Working in cloud environments

Advantageous Skills as Information Security Officer:

• Experience working in the Financial/Management Consultancy Sector

Key Responsibilities as Information Security Officer:

• Execute the organisations information security strategy and roadmap to improve the protection of the group from credible threats and ensure compliance with all data privacy regulations
• Assist the Global Data Privacy Team with coordinating investigations, incident response and root cause analysis
• Manage client due diligence requests and oversee security dialogue internally and externally where required
• Act in an advisory capacity as a Security SME to stakeholders and project leads where required
• Maintain a risk register for identifying and tracking any security risks within business operations
• Develop risk analysis metrics and measurements and provide regular updates to the Senior Management team on their threat, security and risk posture
• Manage the evaluation and selection of new technology tools, including the assessment of security and data processing implications
• Manage and coordinate vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on their Infrastructure and track the remediation of any security findings
• Day-to-day oversight of the outsourced managed Security Operations Centre
• Taking ownership and control of their suite of Information Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery policies
• Responsibility for user training and awareness around Information Security and Data Privacy
