Senior QA Tester

Marcus Donald is currently sourcing a Senior QA Tester to join Insurance company in Central London.

They are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior QA Tester to join their expanding team and work on cutting edge web projects. You will be working in a team alongside a group of talented Developers and highly skilled QAs following modern practices and utilising current tech.

If you are a Senior QA Tester with experience in the Insurance domain and advanced testing experience in API’s and UI’s with up-to-date knowledge of C# or Java then this could be the role for you.

Senior QA Tester – Roles Responsibilities

• Quality assurance of continuous software delivery with a focus on both functional manual and automation testing.
• Create and carry out concise and thorough tests.
• Provide feedback on how the systems/code can be designed or can be implemented to make it testable.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients.
• Confidently collaborate with the Technical Team to ensure requirements are understood.
• Take an active role across the business, particularly with Story definition and comprehensive testing of stories and performing automation on regression test cases.
• Be a proactive member of the team when it comes to releases and production defects 

Senior QA Tester – Skills and Experience

• Good understanding of C# or Java
• Good knowledge and experience of Test Automation tools like Selenium and a BDD framework such as Specflow or Cucumber
• Advanced testing experience in Web API
• Familiar with working in a CI/CD environment
• Experience in source control tools. Preferably Git
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience in the Insurance domain
