Description
Marcus Donald are currently looking to source a Cloud Security Engineer to join a large financial organisation. The role is based in central London, there will also be opportunities to work from home at least two to three days per week.
The successful applicate will be in charge of Cloud, Information and Data Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance models. Other key responsibilities will be information management, vetting, security culture, and cloud security programming on a regular basis.
The Key responsibilities – Cloud Security:
- Working alongside other departments to articulate the role security plays in Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Design, develop and build cloud security solutions for our environment.
- Incident management (work with additional sources for gathering security events, such as audit logs and SIEM, and deliver it to the right people). Arrange and manage threat simulations and penetration tests to identify and detect possible risks.
- Evaluate environments for inherent and systematic vulnerabilities, methods of exploitation, and potential impacts.
- Helps in evaluating 3rd party integrations.
- Provide input into the SOC to ensure detection and response capabilities are optimised.
- Leading the client on best practices, within modern cloud engagements. Helping clients embrace the new cloud tech, in a safe way.
- The ability to make appropriate everyday decisions, take charge of decisions and exercise good judgement when escalating issues as required.
Skills/ Requirements – Cloud Security:
- 3+ years’ experience within the Cloud Security field
- Vast knowledge of data encryption and key management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding Identity Management principles: SSO, OAuth, JWT, SAML
- Extensive knowledge of cloud and information security controls.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding DevOps, security consultancy for deployment programmes, or architecture analysis.
Location – Central London, United Kingdom
Salary - £70000 - £80000 per annum,
