Senior Cyber Security Specialist

Our client, a leading competitor in the financial industry, is currently in the market for a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to become a core member of their organisation. The experienced candidate will work in unity with the Head of Cyber Security and be motivated by providing solutions and results. The successful recruit will utilise their access to the latest developments in the technological word and support the defense of highly valuable and sensitive data for millions worldwide.

Technical Requirements – Senior Cyber Security Specialist:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in SIEM tools (QRadar, Splunk, LogRhythm).
• Experience writing and triaging production security alerts against large data sets.
• Onboarding / troubleshooting / investigation of Cloud Security Technologies (Azure and AWS).
• Experience evaluating OS logs, directory services, application logs, firewall, IPS, host security, network devices in investigations.
• Good Knowledge of Infrastructure concepts (Windows, Linux, DNS).

Essential Requirements - Senior Cyber Security Specialist:

• Ability to produce legible records of findings.
• Excellent communication at all levels.
• Practical experience of the Cyber Security threat landscape.
• Experience of and ability to liaise with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of delivering and maintaining compliance and security standards.

Location: London
Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 per annum
