Description

My client is looking for a Cyber Security Architect who is looking to find a place to work that they will fit in well and work in the best environment possible. My client is a well-rounded company based in central London and is working remotely for now but coming soon they will be implementing people back into the office and trying to get people to work 3 days a week in the office.

If you know your stuff, care about the design of the company and can ensure the Company is safe and layed out well, then I believe you're the one for my client. They are looking for a Cyber Security Architect that is innovative and able to work independantly aswell as being able to work well in a team, suggesting ideas and working with others.

Essential skills - Cyber Security Architect:

  • Awareness of current IT Security standards such as ISO 27001, PCI, NIST, ISF, UKGC and Data Protection and experience implementing security solutions.
  • Substantial experience with core workplace technologies, such as Microsoft, Atlassian and Slack.
  • Experience of designing secure, large-scale, highly distributed event driven architectures.
  • Experience with cloud-based security controls (secure web gateway, next gen firewall, cloud access security broker).
  • Knowledge of Cloud fundamentals - Design Patterns, Shared Security, Monitoring.

Desirable skills - Cyber Security Architect:

  • Security Qualifications such as Azure Security Associate/Azure Solution Associate/CISSP/CCSP/ etc.
  • Evaluating the security of applications and architectures using both manual and automated techniques.
  • Understanding and articulating the impact of vulnerabilities on existing and future designs and systems and be able to articulate a response.

Technical skills - Cyber Security Architect:

  • Knowledge of networking security (DNS, Firewalls, Switches, Load Balancers, subnets, TLS, SAML).
  • Experience advising cross functional technical teams and partners on implementing security best practices.
  • Broad knowledge of the Security Product Market and Toolsets (SIEM, PAM, Vulnerability Management)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Identifying, designing, and deploying solutions to secure cloud usage.
