Data Leakage Prevention (DLP)

Marcus Donald is currently in the market for a Data Leakage Prevention on behalf of one of our large banking clients within central London. This role will focus on the daily design, engineering, implementation, sustainment, and coordination of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP).

Our client is looking to engage with a candidate who has a strong IT security background. Candidates should be able to demonstrate expertise in a range of data loss technologies.

Data Leakage Prevention – Key Responsibilities:

• Operate host and network data loss technologies.
• Take an active part in the resolution of events, even after they have been escalated.
• Conduct security research on threats and remediation methods.
• Perform daily triage against DLP alerts.
• Maintain and provides improvements to DLP processes and procedures.

 Data Leakage Prevention – Knowledge Requirements:

• Technical experience in creating, testing and deploying DLP
• Strong knowledge of data loss technology and controls
• Knowledge of programming and Scripting languages, specifically Python, PowerShell
• Background experience in IT security
• Experience with Microsoft and Office365 and Compliance Center
• Ability to create and maintain platform specification documentation.
• Experience with using tools such as FireEye, McAfee and check point.
• Experience in end point protection, data masking, data encryption, DLP and Key management

 Data Leakage Prevention - Skills Requirements:

• Excellent communication and business engagement sills
• Confident individual ability to communicate to all levels management and articulate business solutions to complex problems
• Flexibility and initiative, as well as the ability to work independently.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Active Directory
