Description

My client is rapidly growing and will be an exciting company to be a part off. They are looking for a new member to join their team as a Threat intelligence & Vulnerability Management Specialist.

They are a big financial company based in Central London and are looking for someone to start working full time with them and help the company ensure they are moving in the right direction and that they are safe from threats and vulnerabilities. You will have to be innovative and happy to commute into London.

Technical understandings - Threat intelligence & Vulnerability Management:

  • Develop Security tools automating vulnerability assessment in languages such as C, C++, Python, Go or Java
  • Have hands on experience with, Splunk, QRadar, RSA Analytics or LogRhythm
  • Experience working with Cyber Security & Incident Response frameworks such as NIST, Kill Chain, Attack life cycle & MITRE
  • Experience with frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT 5

Essential requirements - Threat intelligence & Vulnerability Management:

  • Experience with various Cyber Security technologies such as TIP's, SIEM, SOAR etc
  • Practical Knowledge of Malware & Vulnerability Analysis
  • Knowledge of intelligence collection and analysis techniques
  • You will undertake research and proactively work with colleagues to carry out mitigations against potential attacks
  • Ability to perform in-depth vulnerability assessments and variant analysis
  • Provide solution and guidance to software development teams to remediate security findings and reduce risk

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confident individual with the good interpersonal skills, able to deal with people at all levels and communicate to users in a clear, non-technical language
  • Exceptional teamwork skills and ability to express and share ideas
  • Ability to report on progress, timescales, outstanding and completed activities
  • Good knowledge of the constant developments in the information security industry
