Description
Marcus Donald are currently looking to identify an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a NFP Organisation. This is a home-based role with very little travel involved.
As a Infrastructure Engineer, you will have a very technical background and are looking to specialise in offering exceptional support and the effective operation of the technology infrastructure by means of administering and supporting cloud infrastructure.
Your role will fall within the Infrastructure and Security team, you will be involved in the design, delivery, changes and operational support of the Groups technology infrastructure.
Infrastructure Engineer – Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support to install and decommission infrastructure and security services across the Group
- Ensuring all Incidents and Service Requests are accurately prioritised and managed
- Work with the Service Desk Manager to address assigned support calls
- Actively work with the Head of Infrastructure and Security to meet periodically with key business stakeholders to understand customer issues/expectations and implement remedial action plans to address
Infrastructure Engineer - Technical Competency (Essential):
Ability to administer and support the following technologies;
- Office365 - Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams / Yammer & OneDrive
- Virtual Machines
- Windows Virtual Desktop
- Virtualisation technologies from VMware, Hyper V and Xen Server
- SQL on Virtual Machines
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Active Directory
- Azure - Management and Governance
- Azure – Migration
