.NET Developer

We are currently looking for a .NET Developer for a large Insurance organization in the City of London. You will be participating in the delivery of development, guidance and support across a portfolio of demand streams. Develop solid technical and communication skills, while delivering high-quality software development. You will be required to undertake unit testing.

Key requirements of the .NET Developer:

• At least 5 years’ experience working with .Net/C#
• Good SQL Skills
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ideally familiar with modern JS frameworks
• Experience of a working agile development process using any methodology would be an advantage
• Knowledge and / or experience of developing .NET applications in cloud environments such as Azure would be an advantage
• An interest in software architecture, design patterns and upcoming new frameworks and tools would be of great interest
• Demonstratable experience of developing web applications within the Insurance industry

Key Responsibilities of the .NET Developer:

• Development of REST API’s
• Developing an engaging UI using modern front-end technologies
• SQL development
• Utilising cloud offerings
• Dealing with internal and external stakeholders to discuss requirements of how they want applications built
