SQL Developer

A market leading FinTech firm who have recently taken the adaption to go fully remote are keen to bring in a SQL Developer to the fold to take ownership of their Database constructs and innovate for the future.

This is a great role that will allow someone with some strong database skills to join a business where tech is at their fore-front providing them the opportunity to work alongside the CTO and define the future technical roadmap.

The ideal candidate will have several years of SQL development behind them with a competent amount of hands-on development with Java.

Essential skills for the SQL Developer:

• Extensive SQL Development experience
• MS SQL Server or similar
• Stored Procs, Triggers, Joins, etc
• Hands on programming experience with Java
• Experience working with large dataset

Desirable skills for the SQL Developer:

• Good database architecture skills
• Experience with cloud offerings, ideally Azure but AWS and GCP welcome
• Experience working within the FinTech, Financial or Banking sectors
• Any experience with UI development using JS frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue is handy but not overly important.

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 (Flexible)
Location: Fully remote, with occasional travel for meet-ups. Must be UK based.
