Data Privacy Analyst
Marcus Donald are now searching for a Data Privacy Analyst to join a client with offices across the UK.
In this role you will be joining the newly created Information Security team, assisting them with delivering and protecting their customers and how they manage risks to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities as Data Privacy Analyst
- Monitoring GDPR email & telephone contacts and responding to notifications of DSAR, data breach notifications and general requests.
- Responding to data subject access requests according to policy and carrying out legitimacy checks, liaising across the business to collate relevant data and liaising with legal on redactions.
- Responding to routine data privacy requests.
- Recording all activities and reporting on performance.
- Working with colleagues to identify potential improvements and efficiencies.
- Identifying risks and escalating issues and problems as required.
- Working in conjunction with the Change Management team to carry out data privacy risk assessments and DPIA.
- Supporting the business in maintaining and monitoring data asset registers and information flows.
- Carrying out ongoing data privacy incident handling testing and improvements.
- Improving policy and practice in relation to data privacy.
- Taking part in the carrying out of internal audits to assure ongoing data privacy compliance.
