Description
Technology Project Manager
An International Charity is seeking a Technology Project Manager for its Information Technology Department based in London. You will be a core member of the IT team with responsibility for managing Technology Projects across the headquarters function as well as supported territories/countries.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Create briefs, PIDs and all project reports
- Manage projects on a day to day basis including, scope, risk, budget, quality and benefits
- Supporting project teams during the analysis and planning stages of technology projects
- Use the PMO tool to create and maintain project data, including; schedules, roles, issues, changes and risks
- Liaise between the client and 3rd party suppliers of systems and hardware through ITT and deployment
- Delegate project tasks to project team members
- Ensure all Technology projects follow PMO governance structures and that governance is active and continuous
- Working alongside the PMO Manager, create project updates and internal communications for governance bodies (e.g. Risk & Management Committee) and for publication internally on SharePoint or TEAMS
- Support the client and all departments with Technology enabled Business Change projects to adopt and operate project methodologies and to use the correct project control templates
RequirementsÂ
- 5+ years’ IT PM experience including:Â
- Planning & Analysis
- Governance
- Quality management & Project Assurance
- Management Reporting
- Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
- Experience of working with PMO tools – portfolio management, project management, collaboration, internal social networking and data visualisation
- Experience of a range of project methodologies including Waterfall, Prince2, Agile, lean
- ITIL Certificate, PRINCE2 Practitioner
