A SaaS leader in Hertfordshire is looking for ambitious CTO to join the fold and lead the development of their market-leading mobile apps.

This individual will take ownership of the software engineering function of the business and work with Dev, Ops, and QA departments to drive the businesses vision forward.

The business is an SME so ideally, they’re looking for someone with a software development background, good architecture skills, and a CTO who has come from an SME/Start-up background who is able to work closely on the ground with the team.

Ideally, this individual will have good knowledge of AWS Infrastructure as well as the benefits of NoSQL DBs who is an advocate for change and innovating systems to stay ahead of the technology curve.

Required skills of the CTO: 

• Be a software leader
• Grasp a full understanding of the current technical environment and capacity for the purpose of pushing forward innovative change
• Establish future product roadmaps and infrastructure changes
• Good interpersonal skills and be able to work with end clients for requirement taking 
• Proven experience in hands on CTO/Architect positions
• Good knowledge of AWS CloudFront and NoSQL DB infrastructures 
• A good level of experience in providing security protocol strategies as part of the development process and infrastructure (ISO27001 Desired)
