Marcus Donald are currently working with a Software company based in the City of London who are looking to build out their DevOps function. They are searching for a mid level DevOps Engineer (3+ years’ experience).

The company have successfully onboarded several new clients and therefore have a lot of projects to be completed therefore the successful candidate will spend the majority of their time working on automation projects.

Due to the nature of the business and the work being done, the client is happy for the candidate to work fully remote.

Key skills for the DevOps Engineer (fully remote)

• AWS
• Terraform
• Ansible
• Jenkins
• Confluence and/or similar tools and frameworks
• CI/CD pipelines
• Worked in microservices environment

Advantageous skills for the DevOps Engineer (fully remote)

• Azure
• GCP
• Kubernetes
• Developing CI/CD
• Working in SCRUM, Kanban or tribe’s environment

Key responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer (fully remote)

• Work on several client-based projects
• Automation cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Work with team to meet business requirements
• Help build cloud-based solutions i.e. SaaS
• Deploying microservices, containerised Docker applications using CI/CD pipelines
• Documenting pipeline process
