Marcus Donald are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a leading technology company based in the City of London. The Engineer will be responsible for working on both BAU and project work and will be a part of an experienced team. Current projects include cloud migrations into AWS and upgrading applications. 

The successful candidate will come from a Software Engineering background, have proven commercial experience working on both BAU and project work and be a team player.

This is a great position for a mid / senior Engineer looking to expand their knowledge in Microservices and cloud hosted architecture.

• AWS / CDK (cloud development kit)
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Ansible
• Monitoring & alarms

Key responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer

• Working with cross functional teams to deliver high priority projects
• Assisting Developers, Data and Product teams with BAU
• Migrating from Monolith to Docker
• Logging and monitoring cloud (AWS)
• Assisting seniors with expenditure
