Marcus Donald are now searching for a Security Architect to join a client based in Canary Wharf.

In this role you will be responsible for leading Cyber design authority for all security aspects within the business. As well as this, you will work on projects with high strategic impact both internally and externally, influencing security strategy and communicating with a broad range of key stakeholders.

Key Skills for Security Architect

• You will need to be able to gain SC Clearance to be considered for this role
• CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certified
• Working in OT Cyber Security in Critical National Infrastructure
• System Architecture experience
• Delivering awareness training
• Analysing incidents across a complex environment
• 3rd party management
• Driving Risk reduction

Key Responsibilities as Security Architect

• Supporting the definition of the business’ security, privacy and resilience requirements and translating them into recommended strategic options
• Manage the routine assessment of threats affecting the market, based on effective partnerships with the Security, Intelligence, Law Enforcement Agencies and other areas
• Recommending security technical designs, implementations and operational changes across projects or technologies
• Understanding business operations and which systems and data are utilised in order to advise on security architecture improvements
• Using a deep and evolving level of technical expertise to allow you to act as role model and influence key business and architectural decisions
• Ensuring that an appropriate and proportionate secure and resilient architecture is in place, supporting a robust risk management process
• Researching, identifying, validating and adopting new technologies and methodologies
• Delivering on all security aspects of business projects, focusing on high strategic impact programmes, in line with the risk appetite
