Marcus Donald are currently recruiting for a ColdFusion Developer to join an Education client based in Central London. As a ColdFusion Developer you will be responsible for developing and supporting technology products and digital services for the client.

As a ColdFusion Developer, you will be responsible for end-to-end software development life cycle of products and services from initial scoping through development, testing and deployment of the Apprenticeship Delivery Platform suite of systems. This also includes maintaining day-to-day relationships with other first and second line support teams as well as providing specialist support and guidance on the e-Portfolio products.

Key Skills

• Demonstrable experience of software development
• Solid experience knowledge of Adobe ColdFusion (version 9+) and/or Lucee (version 5+)
• Good understanding of MVC and other similar frameworks.
• Good understanding of MS SQL and similar relational databases.
• Good understanding of front-end languages, frameworks, toolkits, libraries (for example: CSS2/3, HTML/5, Javascript, jQuery, JSON & XML.
• Experience of use version control techniques (GIT/SVN).

Desirable

• Experience with advanced front-end frameworks (for example: React, Vue, Knockout)
• Understanding of Responsive Design
• Experience with LESS or SCSS
• Experience NodeJS and task runners (gulp, yarn)
• Experience of other programming languages (PHP, .Net)
• Knowledge of Unit Testing / Functional Testing
