Marcus Donald are now searching for an IT Service Manager to join a client based in Glasgow.

In this role you will be responsible for managing the service delivery of ICT services whilst working with the Service Ops team and ensuring business relationships internally enable delivery.

Key Responsibilities as IT Service Manager

• Ensuring business relations within the organisation are managed to enable the delivery of ICT services
• Ensuring that service asset and configuration items are properly controlled
• Leading and directing teams to ensure that SLAs and OLAs are in place and are being met with both external and internal teams
• Manage the service delivery ICT services and support, manage and maintain the infrastructure solutions that underpin the services
• Contribute to system design, integration, system testing and associated problem solving
• Contribute to the development of IT related strategies and policies
• Ensure all contractors carry out processes to ITIL standards
• Ensure new functionality required by the business is delivered while the integrity of existing services is protected
• Managing the day to day delivery of ICT products and services, ensuring that suppliers and vendors come together to deliver these services
• Schedule testing and deployment of releases ensuring that you are minimising business disruption
• Maintain the service to ensure it remains secure and fir for purpose
