Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Division: Permanent/Contract
Reports to: Team Manager

Job Summary
To build, develop and maintain relationships with clients and candidates by offering a consultative recruitment solution to meet their needs. Develop an understanding of your specialist market sector through client and candidate generation, networking and research. To maximise opportunities within your specialist field and to meet and exceed individual objectives while maintaining a high level of service.
Duties & Responsibilities for Trainee Recruitment Consultant:
Sales/Business Generation Activities
- Identify new business opportunities primarily through telephone-based business development.
- Develop a strong pool of candidates, taking into consideration soft skills as well as technical skills and experience.
- Develop business relationships with clients.
- Work to build Marcus Donald People’s market presence and reputation.
- Maintain and develop the client database.
- Follow Marcus Donald People best practice.
- Develop a good understanding of your specialist market sector.
Administration & General
- Use in-house IT systems to generate candidates and clients.
- Marketing to professional standards and in line with our quality management.
- Ensure all candidate and client records are kept in line with recruitment legislation.
- Develop a good understanding of Marcus Donald People’s Contract/Permanent Terms and Conditions.
- Write and place job advertisements using job boards and our Company website.
