Marcus Donald are currently seeking an Azure Architect for a Bank based in Central London. The successful candidate will be working in a cross functional team to redesign the Azure environment. This is a great position for an individual looking to be involved in a greenfield project.

My client is looking for an individual with proven design and Infrastructure experience. Ideally, they are seeking a candidate with Banking experience however this is not essential.

Key Skills for the Azure Architect

• Azure (PaaS & IaaS)
• Automation with Terraform
• Design, build and operate Cloud platform
• Powershell
• Windows / Linux
• Azure network concepts – VPN, Load balancers, internal DNS
• Azure SQL
• Knowledge of common threats and methods of defence

Responsibilities for the Azure Architect

• Creating both high & low level designs
• Automate the Azure environment
• Working on end to end projects
• Coaching and mentoring others across the engineering teams
• Continuous delivery
