Publishing Platform Support Developer  

Marcus Donald are currently looking for a Publishing Platform Support Developer to join a financial client in Canary Wharf. 

You will be responsible for providing back-end support to help migrate a number of publications to their new systems. 

Skill set required for Publishing Platform Support Developer: 

• Knowledge of JavaScript 
• Familiarity with Adobe InDesign 
• Background in data sciences/ computing/ coding/ visual design 
• Logical and methodical, yet creative, mindset 

Responsibilities required for Publishing Platform Support Developer: 

• To learn the publishing systems CAS (Content Aggregation Service) 
• Build new "package structures" in CAS, following supplied guidelines 
• Create "tagged frames" in Adobe InDesign packages for layout content 
• Test migrated workflows in CAS 
• Document publication package structures and workflows 
• Associate textual contents with these package structures
