Full Stack Developer

A large financial firm are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their growing team based in London. They are looking for a candidate who will be part of a delivery team working on the development of products that combine Open Banking technology with advanced class-leading Data Science.

*Fully remote*
**6-month contract (rolling) 500-550 outside IR35**

You will provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen their position as leaders in financial services and make sure that produced code is secure, stable, and operational before handover to the Software Component Manager.

Full Stack Developer – Key Responsibilities

• Working as part of an agile team to develop quality solution
• Conduct code reviews and test software, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
• Develop well-crafted, reliable, and performant software using C# in Microsoft’s technology stack (including dotnet core and .NET MVC)
• Support the Software Component Manager in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
• Ideally understand how Benchmarks/Indexes are constructed, as you will be working with the global Benchmark teams in Asset Management
• As well as develop software, you will also be able to define user stories and assist with writing up test cases and perform the testing alongside users
• A systemic view on a system, understanding its parts and how they collaborate with each other

Full stack developer – Technical skills:

• Preferably 4+ years' experience with C#.Net and multi-threading (threads, thread pools, Task Parallel Library)
• SQL experience (Oracle PL/SQL and/or SQL Server)
• Experience with messaging, primarily Tibco, and JMS
• Cloud Technology (e.g., Postgres, Kafka, MS Azure) would be nice to have - one of their main projects is move to Cloud
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation (MVVM) and Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation
• Open minded and eager to learn new technologies
