IT Project Manager

Marcus Donald are currently looking for a IT Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high profile, high value project at a large & very successful business, with visibility and sponsorship at the highest level.

*Outside IR35*

**Hybrid working however, there is an initial need to be business facing (in the office), to ensure necessary relationships are formed and the culture of the business is absorbed**

You will be working with a multi-disciplined project team, a ServiceNow consulting partner and technical & non-technical staff therefore; leadership, planning, management, communication and all-round soft skills will be the most important areas assessed!

IT Project Manager - Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the project - taking it through initiation, scoping and delivery
• Ensure first-rate business change and IT delivery
• Establish project team structure and communication plan, aligning approach with partners
• Oversee partner delivery, ensuring appropriate measures are in place to manage performance
• Drive all Planning & Initiation activity culminating in a clear scope and delivery plan to take to business sponsors and stakeholders
• Build, own and drive the overall project delivery plan across all workstreams – tech & non-tech
• Owning project communication and business change activities working alongside project sponsors and relevant heads of department

IT Project Manager - Technical:

• Strong Partner Management experience
• In particular, experience with ITSM (IT Service Management) projects involving Tier 1 vendors, e.g., ServiceNow, BMC or Ivanti
• Significant experience with complex IT transformation projects at a medium and large scale
• Strong people and stakeholder management up to C-suite
• Demonstrable understanding of business change principles and techniques
• Appropriate qualifications and applied experience across all aspects of Project and Programme Management

This is a great Outside IR35 contract and someone with previous experience and involvement with a successful Enterprise Service Management Platform implementation would be perfect!
