Description
Marcus Donald are currently looking to identify an experienced 2nd Line Mac Support Analyst to join a creative media, printing and advertisment organisation in East London.
This is a very urgent requirement!
The successful 2nd Line Mac Support Analyst will be responsible for providing all levels of Apple desktop (Mosyle) & server infrastructure (Linux) and application (Adobe) support across the organisation. As a 2nd Line Mac Support Analyst - you will have excellent knowledge and experience managing Mac OS X.
Onboarding remotely will be accepted. However, 1 or 2 days from East London offices on a weekly basis will be expected from late spring 2021.
2nd Line Mac Support Analyst – Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st / 2nd level desktop and application support for Mac User
- Experience of managing Macs with a MDM solution (Mosyle)
- Maintain the MacOS desktop environment, including hardware, provisioning, configuration, software installation and upgrades for new and current employees
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network support tickets undertaking repairs and fixes where possible and escalating more complex problems to the appropriate member of the team or third-party provider
- Create and maintain new and existing systems documentation
- Liaise with third party hardware and software providers
- Scheduling and performing builds of Apple workstations
- Assisting with archiving and housekeeping of data systems
- Production of technical documentation
- Out of hours work may be required in order to suit business demands
- To support the IT Director with regards to ad-hoc department activities
2nd Line Mac Support Analyst – Skills and Experience Required:
- Excellent knowledge of Mac OS and experience of managing Macs in an enterprise environment
- Maintain our MacOS desktop environment, including hardware provisioning, configuration, software installation and upgrades for new and current employees
- Experience of managing Macs with a MDM solution (Mosyle)
- Good knowledge of managing Linux servers
- Exchange/O365 administration
- Good communication skills
- Strong Customer Service and Technical skills required, proficient in the applications which make up the Adobe Creative Suite of products in order to support designers
- Able to analyze problems, determine cause and reach a resolution
