Marcus Donald are now searching for a Business Information Security Officer to join a client based in Marina Bay, Singapore. It is essential that you have experience working in the Financial Sector to be suitable for this role.

In this role you will join a global team responsible for securing business strategies and processes by providing advisory services to leaders and effectively connecting business needs to security solutions.

Key Skills as Business Information Security Officer

• Operational Risk within Information Security
• Maintaining effective Operational Risk Management Frameworks
• Experience with Banking regulatory requirements
• Implementing & monitoring corporate policies/programs
• Technical background/understanding
• Stakeholder management
• Certifications/Degrees (Desirable)

Key Responsibilities as Business Information Security Officer

• Serving as the primary Interface to the Information Security team and supporting Lines of businesses, operations and technology
• Contributing to and maintaining an effective Operational Risk Management Framework, escalating any observed operational risk
• Developing a strong understanding of underlying technical requirements of the InfoSec standards, identifying security gaps and providing consultation to the businesses for remediation options
• Sharing emerging risks and focus areas with business and technology management teams
• Implementing and monitor corporate Information Security policies/programs within lines of business and ensuring timely program delivery and manage risk within tolerance
• Partnering with Technology teams to ensure the implementation and sustainability of controls
• Partnering with the Supplier risk management team to ensure the remediation of risks
• Maintaining and enhancing the status as a subject matter expert for all InfoSec matters
• Partnering with the IS Operations team to provide support on investigations and incident response
• Monitoring risk exceptions and resolutions, in response to security events, assessment and audit results
• Responding to security events by initiating and coordinating actions needed to protect the business and its clients
• Providing expert advice to the business on current Cyber threats affecting the business and clients
• Engage with regulators and auditors on Information Security and TRM matters.
